Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 216
I'm really enjoying our Friday night Baduy Pride episodes as they've become our sort of online drinking sessions with friends - or at least with the friends who happen to be online. It's still not a perfect alternative to like actually hanging out in person, but it'll do for now. It's funny how we haven't really been drinking for most of this quarantine period - just not the same without the company of friends. Just me and Tobie drinking at home isn't quite as fun.
Then tomorrow is the O Bar House Party Queens II event, which I've been looking forward to all week. It'll be more online drinking, which is still something to get used to but at this point, I'll take it. We enjoy our times in lockdown as best we can, however, we can.
Hello, weekend. Our building has a scheduled power outage tomorrow, so that's not going to be fun. But whatever. At least it's a sort of break in the routine so that's something, right? Lockdown is a period where you sometimes find yourself celebrating the mundane.
