Quiet night in tonight. What we're most looking forward to tonight is O Bar's first official Zoom-based House Party event sponsored by Bacardi. We even opted not to have a Baduy Pride vlog today in order to focus on that event instead. As much as we've enjoyed watching the different O Divas in their respective live stream shows on Facebook and such, it's still different to have even a few of them together for a somewhat more "proper" O Bar show.
One of the things that really sets the O Divas apart is not just how well they perform individually but also how well they work together and the sort of dynamic group numbers they put together. And that's what we don't get a lot of in their home performances since (1) obviously they don't live together and (2) even when they do get to gather, their performance space options are severely limited and don't allow for the sort of complicated choreography we're more used to. So yeah, tonight's show is a big deal.
Just a little taste of what could be more like normal. I miss the old normal and I don't know when we're going to get back to it again. We can only home.
