Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 105
The last weekend of June is generally when we celebrate LGBT Pride weekend with friends at O Bar. But because of this COVID-19 Quarantine situation, we're celebrating Pride at home today because is the safest option for everyone.
Do I miss being able to celebrate events like LGBT Pride in the company for friends? Or course I do! But then we have to think of Public safety more than the momentary happiness that comes with a weekend of partying.
Pride is an event that lives in our hearts and is something that we celebrate inside and allow to shine forth to others. We carry through as best we can. Things will get better, even without sufficient action by our government on a national level.
