Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 47
There has been a lot of talking this week because of work, and I'm really feeling it now. When everyone is working from home, it feels like it takes double the effort to stay in touch with everyone and make sure things are going okay. So it's a good thing that this is a shorter workweek with the Labor Day holiday tomorrow. But there's still so much to do though. It never feels like there's enough time in the day to finish everything you need to do.
Long weekends are wasted on quarantines, quite frankly. It's not like we can do anything with the extra time we have apart from the current forms of entertainment available to us here at home. If the ECQ weren't in effect, we probably would have mapped out a game night with friends or a trip to O Bar. Then all of the holiday would be spent on an RPG session whether for an ongoing campaign or a one-shot with players we don't get to interact with as regularly. Or we'd do more uncommon things like map out a trip to Greenhills for Transformers hunting or Makati just to browse the different game shops there.
So many different things we could be doing, but alas, this is not the case,
All is not lost, though. We do have an online session for our ongoing Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective game tomorrow and Sunday we still have our online Pendragon RPG session as well. Saturday is a little up in the air, but we'll figure things out soon enough.
Just have to take this quarantine one day at a time.
