Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 11

Today has been a weird mix of good and bad news.

Work was busy but not major fires. Just a lot of things that need to be done.

The family is doing well and we funnily spent most of the day on a video call together even if at many points we had to mute the call to get work done.

Barangay Fort Bonifacio released a memo reminding everyone of stricter quarantine reminders but also assured everyone that they had opted to avoid requiring quarantine passes in the area.

And the headlines today have been more than colorful as we crossed well past 600 cases of COVID-19 and a really annoying disregard for quarantine principles by one of our senators. And he's not even sounding genuinely apologetic about putting so many people at risk based on his public statements.

I wouldn't mind for the rest of this quarantine being a lot less eventful. But this is still the Philippines, so I know we have the potential to drive things to get even crazier.
