I ended up needing to file for work from home today because of a particularly upset stomach. I was already less than ideal yesterday but things got worse over the course of the night since I actually woke up to use the bathroom a few times, which is pretty unusual. While Diatabs did a good job of helping me get things under control, it didn't immediately address the occasional spasms of pain I experienced today. It probably wasn't smart to force a workout earlier, but I figured the 6-minute benchmark routine for the day was a reasonable enough routine for the day despite everything else going on with my body?
With the prevailing COVID-19 fears, it feels weird to be sick due to something else entirely, but I guess that speaks to how the disease is dominating our front-of-mind consciousness and making it easy to dismiss everything else that could still pose as a problem or threat. I'm feeling more or less better now but was definitely dehydrated for a while until Tobie loaded me with Pocari Sweat to help restore electrolytes. It's not a keto solution given the relative sugar content, but I do feel a lot better.
I can't quite afford to skip work again tomorrow since there are things I need to address in-person at the office. Hopefully, the worst is over and I'll be able to get back into the groove of things tomorrow.
