02567: Psychic Espionage

With the new year of reading ahead, I'm finally getting started on MIND MGMT, a comic book that Tobie has been pestering me to read for some time now. He had read his own copy some time back and I had gone ahead and secured various Matt Kindt comics including this one sometime after. But you know how it is, fellow readers - there are always so many other books in queue and it's hard to prioritize.

I'm certainly intrigued by the premise of the book but I don't think I'm at a point where I can confidently explain what the book is actually. There's certainly a lot of mystery involved here - even more than what you'd expect from a book that involves spy agencies with or without special abilities. This book is a slow-brewing mindfuck that just keeps on going and the mysteries never seem to end.

It's brilliant.

I totally get why Tobie loves this comic series so much. I mean come on, my copy of the first volume includes an introduction by Damon Lindelof of Lost fame, and we all know how much Tobie loves that show. I have a long way to go as I'm still in the first volume, but I'm eager to see where this will go.
