When your birthday doesn't fall on a weekend, the options for celebrating can be rather limited beyond one's immediate circle. And since my birthday was last Wednesday, this year I opted to balance things out with a bigger celebration tonight.
After repeated conversations about going to O Bar, I'm finally getting most of the office to finally come to visit our second home. There's some inevitable trepidation about the intermingling of my work life and my queer social life, but I'm still more excited for them to experience all the bar has to offer. It's a pretty big part of my life thanks to Tobie and it only makes sense to "introduce" my other families to one another.
Tonight is going to be pretty crazy, that's for sure.
