Where would we be without the joy of gaming? It's such a delightful hobby that manages to create unique experiences born of the combination of game mechanics and player styles. That results in a near infinite range of possible outcomes and even crazier memories.
The experiences formed at the gaming table go beyond what you might go through in a video game. Online communication tools help push the social aspect of modern games but it never quite replaces the interactions you have with a group of players in the same place.
After all, so much of human communication goes beyond words. There are so many subtle ways we convey meaning to one another. And this all comes together to create the unique magic that is tabletop gaming.
An I am thankful that I have a partner who celebrates this hobby together with me and our circle of friends who embrace gaming in a similar way. We're all made better because of it.
