Pretty tired after today's post-baptism reception event given the mix of entertaining friends and family and occasionally needing to juggle the baby as well. I seem to be developing a knack of putting Mason to sleep while carrying him although my upper body strength is not sufficient for me to be able to carry him for longer periods of time. But I do my best as his uncle to provide what support I can, so that works out for the most part, right?
I'm traveling to Singapore with them tomorrow as we have some work stuff that requires me to be in-country. So at the very least, that means I get another week with my nephew including the Vesak Day holiday on Monday, which is not an observed holiday here in Manila. So it's going to be a pretty busy week one way or another.
I haven't packed my stuff yet and I'm a little annoyed that I didn't get home in time to catch the building laundry shop as a lot of the clothes that I want to bring are in that particular batch. But we still have some time to get that settled, so I should be okay. I just hope I don't forget anything along the way.
