So online advance ticket sales for Avengers: Endgame have gone live on sites like GMovies and it's as bonkers as expected. Ayala cinemas in BGC only opened their last screenings but had obviously sold those seats to those who queued in person so it literally started with no available seats.

SM is having fun of a different sort by only offering rather weird screening times online including unheard of timeslots like 5AM and 7AM slots. It's crazy. But that's just how it goes. And at least we should be thankful that there's an online advanced queuing option at all. Before you'd need to physically visit the cinemas just to order tickets for big shows. So yeah, we've come a long way.

This is definitely one of the more interesting shifts in local cinema management. It's only in recent years that they've started to offer midnight screenings for big blockbuster movies like this and I'm pretty sure we can thank the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe for convincing folks that geekery is good business.

So for now, we don't have tickets yet to see Avengers: Endgame. The weekend of its premiere is a very busy one for us given different game schedules and speaking engagements for Tobie.

Plus hello, that's Tobie's birthday weekend, too! So we'll just see what options come along.
