I miss the Singapore zoos - and yes there's more than one. Each has their own specialty in terms of coverage and they're certainly unique experiences that are a heck of a lot of fun. Over the course of our various trips to Singapore I've had the joy of having experienced the current 4 parks, although it has been some time since our last trip. And now I really feel like we should go again.
Today's discussions related to the zoo naturally shifted to mapping out the first zoo trip for my nephew. Sure, he's only 6 weeks old and it's going to be quite a while before he can fully enjoy such an excursion, but I guess it's never too early to think about it? We're quite the animal-loving family and a trip to the zoo is always a good thing.
But yeah, it's exciting to think about all the different new experiences we'll all get to introduce him to as he grows up. It's going to be quite the adventure.
If anything, I've made the earnest promises to always try to answer any question he might have while growing up. I know I was notorious for incessant questioning and repeated inquiries as to why this or that was the way it was. But I'm not one to want to discourage that sort of inquisitiveness and so I'd be more than happy to do my part in helping to satisfy his curiosity.
