I don't actively miss rice - like not on a conscious level. But I do feel hungry fairly quickly after meals and that sort of nags at me throughout the day. The meal service does include snacks to help deal with that but there are still some times when it's not enough.
My sister has coached me on keto snack options to help pass the time and I've been mainly falling back on almonds as the easiest clutch. Right now I really feel the urge to fry an egg since dinner just it's stretching as much as I'd like but realistically I'll just try to drown that hunger in ridiculous amounts of water and maybe some tea to top it all off.
It's only been three days after all. I still have a long way to go before my body fully transitions into proper ketogenesis.
I do miss pizza though.
