When Tobie and I are apart for extended periods of time, the Sietch can get pretty lonely. Social media is limited respite and so I just try to focus on reading or blogging or whatever. It just kinda sucks that this particular trip overlaps with the weekend when we typically have gaming or theater plans or something like that.
The age of streaming television helps kill the silence as well, although it also means I'm largely watching what I'd classify as second tier content that I don't mind watching without Tobie. The stuff that we love the most obviously has to wait for when Tobie's back and so it's a lot of lesser known science fiction stuff and the occasional low brow comedy.
This rain isn't helping, but hey that's life. Just another night.
