It's almost midnight and I'm still trying to finish a work presentation but the words won't come. A large part of my working life, especially my corporate and marketing years, has involved the sort of corporate speak business writing that feels a little odd to read but fits right in the office environment. I'd like to think that I've gotten pretty good at it and I'm great at spinning emails to remain professional while still berating someone and other quirky moments of the working world.
I'm writing about the usual conundrum of writer's block, in this case professional writer's block? I still need to fluff up this deck with more corporate-sounding jargon but my brain isn't cooperating and won't help me fill in the blank slides with what I need. Ugh, so frustrating.
Maybe taking this break to blog my struggles will help me kickstart my brain and move things forward again before time for bed comes.
