So it's pretty exciting that Tobie has a booth at this year's ESGS Indie Arena. It's a great opportunity to spread the love of tabletop gaming and to help promote Tobie's work in this field. Given all the ups and downs in recent years related to Tobie's efforts to reach out to the local gaming community, moments like this go a long way to make things a little better.
The event runs from Friday to Sunday and I'll only be able to join him for the weekend given work. But I know he'll do well and have a good time and get to meet a lot of people who are interested in his work or at least in tabletop gaming. It's an exciting opportunity and I hope we meet some interesting people over the course of the next few days.
At the same time I am a little worried about the logistics of things as we'll be tied to the booth for pretty much the entire weekend. That means a complex juggling for bathroom runs and very limited chances of getting decent meals. But hey, for now this booth is a two-man team and these are all minor concerns that will quickly get drowned out by the excitement of the event as a whole.
