So I celebrated my birthday with various gaming groups and with our friends at O Bar and of course with Tobie. The only thing left was to celebrate with our awesome team at the office.. And as much as I was expecting something to happen, I was totally touched by the manner in which they chose to mark my latest orbit around the sun.
A "surprise lunch at Din Tai Fung. A Star Trek themed birthday cake. A silly Photoshopped photo of me in a Star Trek uniform (good thing they figured out I was a Science/Medical sort of guy). And a little brick chibi Batman set that I plan on putting together when I get back from Singapore so it can live on my desk. To top it all off, we also got Starbucks for everyone.
This was a great set of birthday celebrations to kick off my 35th year.
