I'm turning 35 on Monday. *shameless plug* Why don't you get me a book to celebrate?
Last night Tobie and I just stayed home, enjoyed a delivery dinner via Rack's and watched Battlestar Galactica with the creator's commentary on. I also played a little Diablo III and cleared my camera of all photos from the Manila Luzon even at O Bar.
Today we're at a friend's place for a 7th Sea game and for a little birthday celebrations. I could say that I'm celebrating my birthday all throughout this long weekend (which I am), but I guess it's more accurate to say that I started celebrating last week since the FGTC got me a lovely cake as well.
Having different board game groups means multiple geeky parties. The gaming life is a good one.
Tonight we might still go to O Bar for Bench's repeat performance of her birthday concert. But the proper "birthday salubong" celebration will be at O Bar again, after we watch West Side Story at The Theatre at Solaire.
It's another busy weekend, but one that promises to be a fun one - and it's going well so far. I don't expect to encounter many friends for my birthday, but I am looking forward to seeing closer friends who matter more.
