Tobie's really back home. All is right in the world - more or less. Well more on the personal front and less in terms of the country at large or perhaps even the world. But with things going well at home, well, it makes it easier to face the lunacy outside.
Today I resisted the urge to pick up only halfway decent takeout at Mercato or order something more substantial for home delivery. Instead I picked up a few more ingredients at the grocery and cooked a hearty kimchi soup for Tobie and me to enjoy. It came out pretty well and I'm thankful to my sister for inspiring the dish and it's just nice to return to more familiar routines.
Life is good again Well, at least on the domestic front. We'll deal with the rest of the world soon enough.
