While the most of the office is technically closed for the holidays, there are still tasks that needed to get addressed. This is also a very busy period for the family so there's the need to juggle a lot of things and the strong desire to get everything done.
Traffic isn't as bad as normal, but Uber surge rates are still pretty high. I understand that the LTRCB has issued an order mandating that all such surge pricing is capped at twice the original fare rate for rides but that doesn't mean it's any cheaper. I wonder if rates are not repeatedly getting maxed out for rides, thus giving us a better feel for how much things will cost moving forward?
Too tired to say more. Just a few days left in 2016!
