Heavy rains today. The weather bureau predicts that the rains will continue through Saturday, and hopefully it won't go too far beyond that. Given how the rains were even part of our company outing earlier in the week, I think we've had more than enough rain.
But today was really unfortunate as the afternoon rains made things even crazier for post work day life. Folks are stuck at the office again and the only good thing to count on is that they had food to cook for dinner and stuff to watch while waiting out the worst of the traffic. But really, there has to be something that can be done sooner rather than later to alleviate traffic further. And I don't think it needs the authorization of emergency powers for the President.
Sigh.
