It was a rather stressful first day of the month and so Tobie and I went out for dinner and had way too much raw seafood over at Genki Sushi. They don't offer the best sushi in the world, but they do deliver what they have with a clever delivery system that is at least entertaining. We did not spend as much money as we would have at Keizo, but we still spent a fair bit.
I promise, we'll go back to cooking meals tomorrow. I hope.
We've been quite a bit of Japanese as of late, so I guess it's safe to say that Japanese may be my favorite type of cuisine. Sure, I still love Vietnamese pho quite a bit and I'm a sucker for pizza (but not my best friend), but Japanese is something we come back to a lot. And I guess part of it is that it's food we don't necessarily know how to prepare well and so its something that we still need to go out for. This is also why we hardly eat out at Italian restaurants since we're pretty happy with the pastas that we make at home.
But anyway, it has been a very long day and I would like to rest. I still have a heck of a lot that needs to get done tomorrow.
