Tonight I don't want to think about the upcoming elections this Monday. I don't want to think about the very real possibility that we can expect a Duterte-Marcos government as an outcome of this election. I don't want to think about how such a government will affect might impact our economy or even investor confidence. I don't want to think about potential policy shifts should all this come to pass.
Instead we're going to play board games tonight with some Twitter friends and acquaintances who haven't really played too many games yet. It should be an interesting night, provided everyone goes with the flow and doesn't hold back too much. But I expect a lot of shyness and fear of losing, as is common for first-time tabletop gamers, but Tobie and I will do our best to guide them into this interesting geeky hobby.
