So Yoshi got his repeat blood test today and we're out of the danger zone for now. He responded very well to the additional supplements and the temporary reintroduction of chicken liver in his diet and his blood levels were no longer indicate a severe level of anemia. We'll maintain the extra medications but will have to ease off the chicken liver to avoid aggravating his kidney condition further.
Yoshi's quite the fighter and we couldn't be happier.
Our medical routine for Yoshi now has a few more steps and we'll do our best to keep up with all of our obligations to help support his health.
Next non-problem to consider...getting Yoshi groomed. Maybe we should just buy a clipper and get it over with.
