As far as ailments go, conjunctivitis feels more annoying that debilitating. The redness really affects people who see you and not the other way around. The leaky discharge is kinda gross and leads to crusty mornings, but it's not exactly life-threatening. It's not itchy all the time apart from a few intense spells here and there. And treatment only involves eye drops instead of various medications that one might need to swallow or whatever.
But it does mean using computers for extended periods of time a little tricky since the eyes feel tired rather quickly, especially when it comes to exposure to light. There's a puffy, heavy feeling in the eye lids that makes one feel tried just by being awake. So yeah, things could be better and I also recognize that they could be far, far worse.
