The first day back at work after a long(ish) vacation is never easy. It takes a while for you to get your brain back in the right place and to get yourself back in your work groove. Plus there are all those many different items that were left pending because you were out and all that jazz.
So my first day back involved a lot of catching up and all these different little errands that I wish I had managed to close out before the vacation. But life is too short for regrets - although today really reminded me that I need to get myself an administrative assistant to help with these items so I don't have to bother so much. And that will leave me free to do more important things, although another person on the payroll means more expenses. But it all evens out in the end, right?
But yeah, I still have a lot of catching up to do.
