So the full details of the QC LGBT Pride March 2014 are out and things look pretty impressive already. We have a massive parade route that is potentially over 4 kilometers. To help with everyone hoping to join the march this year, here's what you need to know.

  • Pre-register for the march at the official QC Pride Council website.
  • Groups with floats will register in front of the Hotel Rembrandt along Thomas Morato. Floats will assemble along Thomas Morato near ABS-CBN.
  • Individual marchers will regeister at the table setup along Timog Ave. corner Sct. Esguerra Ave. near GMA and will line-up along Sgt. Esguerra Ave. A loot bag will also be provided at the registration table and other LGBT Pride items will be on sale.

Parade Route
  1. Thomas Morato to Timog Ave.
  2. Timog Ave. to East Ave.
  3. East Ave. to V.Luna
  4. V.Luna to Malakas St.
  5. Malakas St. to Matalino St.
  6. Matalino St. to Kalayaan Ave.

General Reminders
  • Bring your own water and snacks for the march itself - it helps to keep supplied, especially given how long the route is.
  • Bring rain gear (e.g. umbrellas, rain coats) in case the weather turns. Unless an actual storm/typhoon hits on Saturday, the march will push through.
  • It might be more practical to take public transportation to the venue given the streets around Thomas Morato are definitely going to be closed and finding parking will be pretty challenging.
  • For those who do need to park, better to park at the QC Memorial Circle or QC City Hall.
  • Groups are bound to wear their own colors. For individual marchers, I find it more practical to just wear white.
  • You can bring mats, banigs, beach towels and such for the Pride Program at the Circle.
