Whenever Tobie stays home like when he can work remote during the week or when he doesn't have to go all the way south to visit his folks. I know I've repeatedly written about how it often it feels like we never have enough time together (or at least not as much as we'd like). And I know the irony of such things given we actually live together and other couples don't even get that benefit. Such is life.
Today I swung by Greenhills on the way home in order to pick up a copy of the Mathematical Edition of Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake. But of course I didn't go home with only that book. I also ended up picking up copies of more recent Neil Gaiman endeavors, namely The Sleeper and the Spindle and Volume 1 of the graphic novel adaptation of The Graveyard Book. I'm already on the order list for Volume 2 - and thus the never-ending cycle of acquiring more and more books continues. Fully Booked is quite the enabler in this regard, although I really wish they'd open a branch in Cubao again. Going all the way to Greenhills, especially during the madness of the holiday season, is never all that fun.
And I also picked up the dimsum that you in the image above. And this nicely captures our favorites in this department - hakaw and chicken feet. It made for a pretty fun lunch, although I really should have cooked something instead.
This isn't much a blog post, but I need to leave things here. I have to get some sleep before our gaming group for the night arrives.
