01914: Taking Another Turn

There are only 24 hours in a day, and that often feels like so little time to do the things that we want to do. But then again, so much an happen in a single day that it sometimes becomes hard to accept that yesterday was in fact only yesterday.

As we cross past the "middle" of the week (Sunday always starts my calendar in my head), things seem to be getting better. As is often the case, the biggest step to solving any problem is recognizing it is there. Then it's just a matter of finding a viable solution to see your way forward. And while I'm still on the mend, I'm definitely feeling better about things.

At the same time, we're back in one of those crazy periods at work when things just go insane in terms of all that needs to get done. And so it's sort of all hands on deck as we steer our way through this little squall. But I work with a pretty good team, so I don't foresee any major issues in the long term. Regardless, I'm still going to get stressed out of my mind between then and now. But it'll be more productive work stress than the vague, formless stress of thinking about the far-ahead future.

Progress is progress. We move forward.
