01877: And Then There Was Saturday

For this weekend, I have no plans to check my work email remotely. Not at all. Sometimes I think I'm being responsible by sneaking a peek here and there just to make sure that I didn't miss anything urgent. But this weekend is not the time for that. After all that has happened this week and the fact that I ended my work week on a rather nice high note, I think I can devote this weekend to resting.

I'm tempted to try and avoid too much writing, but I doubt that's very realistic. My blogging is too much a part of my routine these days and I'm pretty sure that this brand of writing is not a bad thing. I just need to find a balance for things and make sure things don't go overboard one way or another, I suppose.

I do hope that Tobie and I find time to play Diablo III: Reaper of Souls this weekend. We have other game sessions mapped out as well, but since I had already picked up a copy the other day (obviously a stress-related purchase), we'll see what can be managed. I have the game installing on the PS3 right now as I scribble out this quick post.

And I definitely want to go to O Bar on Sunday. After all the craziness of this work week, I could certainly use a night out with friends. And because of an early birthday greeting that went sort of viral, I think a lot of folks are also expecting me to celebrate my birthday this weekend or something.

So we'll see how things go. If I bump into any of you this weekend, be sure to say hello.
