This Saturday is the 2013 Metro Manila Pride March. As has been our habit for the past 4 years, we've made a serious effort to march. The Pride March is important for many reasons, but ultimately it's about standing in solidarity with the rest of the LGBT community and our allies to continue to fight for the equal rights that we deserve.
So this post is a simple request to my friends and other folks who happen to read this blog - if you support LGBT rights and really want to show that you support your LGBT friends, then you're more than welcome to join us for the march on Saturday. The march is open to everyone who believes in the rights of the LGBT community. The march is open to everyone who believes in true equality and the need for human laws.
I honestly hope to see more of my straight friends at the Pride March. It would mean so much to me and Tobie.
