So I spent the day at the hospital - thankfully it's not me who needed medical attention. But of course spending the day at the hospital is never a relaxing experience. For friends and family who take on the role of accompanying the patient, you know that hospitals aren't exactly conducive for rest and peace of mind. and while today's procedure was generally routine in medical circles, there will always be that inevitable feeling of nervousness and worry over how things will turn out in the end.
So I'm glad things turned out well and the patient should be better with some rest and recovery time. And while I am happily home now, I will return tomorrow.
In the meantime, I need to relax and de-stress a bit. And try not to screw up my body clock too much this weekend. Good luck to me.
