0158D: Mowing Through Monday

Like Shockwave, one must rule with logic. And a BIG gun.

Well, it's back to the work week and I'm still alive after the first shift. It's funny how my day started out with me thinking that I wasn't overly busy in terms of my expected work load and yet I was still kept busy throughout the entire day regardless. Before I knew it, I was down to my last hour in the office and I was feeling pretty tired. Such are the joys of the working world.

I can feel things shifting around again in terms of the office's political climate, or whatever you want to call it. This is not my first time around the block of course and I know how to navigate such snarls but it doesn't ever make things any more enjoyable. Such is the nature of such things and we roll with the punches as they come. But on the whole, I'm still optimistic about the future - or at least my immediate future if anything. The company continues to give back to me in so many ways and for that I am grateful.

Although what I really want to do now is spend some time with my Transformers. I'm not exactly that stressed, but it would certainly be a fun activity right now. Then again, when is it not a fun activity? Although beyond just playing, I really need to find time to continue my reorganization efforts and make more space for the other figures. The shelves are rather crowded as it is, but I know I just need to transform them appropriately to make the most of what space is on hand.
