0147E: Happy Days

This was a pretty good weekend. Beyond the rather significant toy-related expenses I racked up, it was certainly an enjoyable time. Not all of our plans pushed through, but for the most part we still had a very good time. And that's always a good thing.

My life as of late may not sound interesting in a "typical" manner. I don't foresee us traveling any time soon unless we find another reason to go to Singapore again. We haven't been hitting the local club scene as much as we used to for a variety of reasons. And Tobie and I find a lot more fun in activities that take place just here at the Sietch like watching DVDs of gaming with friends. It's just how life is as of late, and that's a very good thing indeed.

But this is the kind of life that we enjoy most, not matter what other people think. Travel isn't all that big a deal for us. We don't see the point in trying to get into exclusive events or things of that nature. Heck, we don't even see what the big deal is with most parties and major social events these days.

Different strokes for different folks, as they say. We all have different ways of enjoying life. Find what that path is, find someone who shares those interests with you and the rest will write itself, really.

Never compromise your happiness.
