House Greyjoy from George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series of books is known for their rather harsh approach to the world. Their house motto of We do not sow connects to the concept of the Iron Price that one has to pay to truly prove yourself as a member of the house.
While we don't literally loot and pillage in our lives, one most determine how much we are willing to "pay" for things we value most. We define our individual "iron price" for ourselves.
And tomorrow is the fifth of November:
